Live-Stream interchange has established a powerhouse advisory board of senior B2B executives and business founders / owners.  Combined, they bring over 180 years of experience in skills development, institutionalizing processes and tools and recruiting product management professionals.  Our Board has experience spanning Small & Mid-market Enterprises, Private Equity and Family-Owned Businesses, as well as Fortune 500 and Publicly-Traded Firms - our passion is arming B2B Product Management Professionals with the tools that drive profitable growth and career advancement.

Patrick Ference
Managing Partner

Patrick Ference has over 25 years of experience in public and privately held companies.  Patrick is a 2-time Chief HR Officer of NYSE listed companies and current co-owner of a premier retained executive search and leadership consulting firm. He leads ISP’s leadership consulting practice which includes high-reliability executive search and milestone-based executive transitions/succession.  He also advises clients how to build organizational capability to accelerate growth, adapt to change, and leadership to drive corporate performance through critical inflection points.  Patrick serves a variety of clients from small to mid-cap industrial clients and ranging from publicly traded to private equity and family owned.

 

Patrick’s corporate experience included key roles spearheading operating company turnarounds and company-wide initiatives such as corporate strategy, goal/policy deployment, reconfiguring go-to-market models, transforming HR and strategic product management functions, international growth/expansion, acquisitions, and executive development and succession.

 

Patrick was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also completed a Corporate Executive Program at the Graduate School of Management at Rice University.

Cam Mackey

Non-Profit CEO

Cam Mackey has devoted his career to helping leaders share best practices, improve their effectiveness and grow their organizations. As Executive Director for the non-profit Strategic & Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), he represents a global community of 1,500+ Competitive Strategy & Intelligence Professionals, leaders who leverage insights and best practices to enable smart strategic choices and transformational growth.

 

Prior to joining SCIP, he was Senior Vice President of Operations at Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity & Innovation (MAPI), a professional society for manufacturing executives.

 

He was previously director of sales at Corporate Executive Board, and has led or collaborated on benchmark studies in areas like product management, innovation, digital marketing, pricing, and channel strategy.

Cam graduated with Honors from Haverford College with a BA in Music and completed his Ph.D. in Musicology and Ethnomusicology at the University of Pennsylvania.

Laurie Mizrahi

President & CEO

Laurie Mizrahi established Mizrahi, Inc. in 1987 in New York City, and relocated the firm to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1989. As the President and CEO of the creative marketing and communications firm, Laurie spearheads business development and provides leadership in strategic planning and customer relationships.

 

Mizrahi, Inc's clients have included WESCO, HarbisonWalker International, PNC Wealth Management, Dayton Superior, GNC, Kennametal, UPMC, Sento Corporation, Oberg Industries and Dick's Sporting Goods.

Before starting her own firm, Laurie worked in NYC for Siegel and Gale, a brand development and information design firm. She also worked at a large annual report firm, and a division of DMB&B, creating annual reports, print communications and tradeshow materials for major corporations.

 

She is a former board member of Leadership Pittsburgh and chair of its marketing committee. Additionally, she is a former board member of Regional Learning Alliance Board of Directors, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG), Catalyst Connection, the Marketing Advisory Councils of the Carnegie Science Center and The Ellis School, and was instrumental in establishing the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Art’s (AIGA) - serving as an officer on its board for several years. Laurie has been on advisory boards for multiple Power Link businesses—assisting women entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. Her interest and commitment to the economic development of southwestern Pennsylvania is evident by her active participation on the Allegheny Conference Regional Investors Council.

 

Laurie has over 30 years of experience in the design and communications industry. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, receiving both a B.F.A. in Design and B.A. in History. She is also a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Fellows Center at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Phillips is an experienced CEO, leading global businesses across multiple functional areas for 30 years. 

 

A strategic thought leader, his proven methodology for driving performance with execution has delivered record growth for public and private companies worldwide.

 

Having held many international P&L roles, Mr. Phillips has led multiple acquisition processes, including buying, selling and post merger integration. His most recent leadership role, he led the consolidation of 5 separate facilities on 3 continents simultaneously, generating near double digit margin improvement. 

 

Mr. Phillips holds a B.S. of Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University.

John Q Stang

JKS Advisors LLC

With over 40 years of Industrial Management experience, John founded JKS15 LLC in 2016 to address the growing needs of companies in the areas of Sales Empowerment, Strategy Development and Business Development for Growth.  In addition, he currently serves as a Managing Partner at Lindsey & Company, a retained executive search firm.

 

Prior to forming JKS15 LLC, John worked in private equity as an operating partner for Gridiron Capital LLC specializing in industrial manufacturing. He currently serves on Gridiron Capital’s Board of Business Governors. He has over 30 years of experience leading and assembling high performance teams in public sector Fortune 500 companies achieving record results.

John began his career at Ingersoll Rand Company progressing through various roles of Sales and Marketing leadership in their Construction and Mining Division. He led their new product and sales development for the European, Middle East and Africa region establishing record breaking market share growth before returning to the US to run their North American Sales for Distribution and Direct Retail Operations.

 

Following his career at Ingersoll Rand John was corporate officer and served in the role of President Metalworking Solutions and Services Group for Kennametal Inc., responsible for operations worldwide, including over 10,000 employees and 45 manufacturing sites comprising more than $1.9 Billion in revenue.  Kennametal Inc. (NYSE: KMT) is a leading global supplier of tooling and engineered components consumed in production processes serving companies producing everything from airframes to automotive blocks, from medical implants to oil and gas pipelines and from turbochargers to motorcycle parts.

In addition, John worked for a UK public company and was President and member of the Executive Committee of Morgan Advanced Materials N. A., an advanced ceramic and carbon insulation solutions company.  Morgan Advanced Materials plc (LSS: UK:MGAM ) is an advanced materials technology company that provides highly engineered solutions to markets spanning medical instruments, aerospace, power generation and satellite communications, body armor, trains and fire protection systems. Morgan’s products are fundamental components or enabling technologies for many of the modern world's most sophisticated products operating in extreme environments.

John has lived and worked on two continents and has extensive experience in building effective organizations with global processes and local execution. Mr. Stang holds a B.S. and an M.B.A. from Loyola University in Baltimore.

Peter Viens

Senior Vice President

Pete Viens serves as Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and a member of the Executive Committee at Cornerstone Building Brands. 

 

Prior this role and the merger of Plygem and NCI, Mr. Viens was President of NCI Metal Building brands.  Before joining NCI/Cornerstone Pete was President and Chief Operating Officer at Dayton Superior Corp (DSC) - a manufacturer and distributor of building materials serving concrete construction markets. 

Leading up to Dayton, he held various President and Operational roles in companies in the advanced materials and building materials sectors. 

 

Following an honorable discharge from the US Marine Corps he began his career at Emerson Electric Company where he had a thirteen year career with various engineering and operational roles. 

 

Mr. Viens earned a degree from Thomas Edison State University and an MBA from Rutgers University.  He is also a Six Sigma Blackbelt with a certificate in Lean Manufacturing.
